Another health hack to get extra greens into you or your kids is to turn your smoothie into a popsicle.
Ok well not exactly genius but it does add a bit of variety to your life and it also gets your family thinking about food and health in a different way.
Green Smoothie Popsicle
makes 6 – 8 depending on the size of your popsicle moulds.
1 cup of frozen mango chunks
2 pitted medjool dates
1 large handful of baby spinach
1/2 cup of water
6-8 wooden Popsicle sticks
Blend ingredients in a high-speed blender and pour into moulds.
Freeze for an hour and then insert the sticks.
Put the moulds back into the freezer until frozen solid.
To remove the Popsicle from the moulds, run under warm water for a 30 seconds or so.
Fresh, simple and delicious.
